15-year-old Nagpur boy ends life after being scolded by mother over petty issue

In an extremely unfortunate incident, a 15-year-old Nagpur boy committed suicide by consuming poison after he was scolded by his mother over a petty issue on Sunday. 


The teenager identified as Porus Kshirsagar, a student of Std X, took the extreme step after he was reprimanded by his mother over watering plants at their residence in Gharkul Society in Beltarodi area of Nagpur. 

Unfortunately, even after getting immediate medical attention after he consumed poison, Porus was declared brought dead at the hospital by the doctors. 

Beltarodi police, which has registered a case of accidental death, informed that Porus mother earns her living by working as a domestic help. No suicide note was recovered from the spot by the police.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend. 

He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.

Nagpur declared ‘no drone zone’ on March 20, 21

Ahead of G20 meet in Nagpur, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashwati Dorje, on Wednesday, said the city has been declared ‘No Drone Zone’ on March 20, 21. The development came in as a security measure for the large number of foreign delegates that will be in the city for the summit.   

Any aerial objects including use of parachutes have also been banned.
