Former minister and MPCC chief Ranjeet Deshmukh on Wednesday morning claimed that all was well between him and his son Dr Amol Deshmukh. The veteran leader had earlier in the week filed a complaint at Sitabuldi police station against his son Amol over a property dispute. However, he later withdrew the complaint on Tuesday evening.

When Nation Next spoke to Ranjeet Deshmukh about his reason of reversing the complaint, he said that he took the action in anger. He also said that he still shares a good rapport with both his sons Amol and Ashish.

After Nation Next spoke to senior PI Hemant Kharabe who had recorded the senior leaders statement, he said, Due to misunderstanding and anger, Ranjeet sir filed the complaint against Amol. He withdrew the complaint.

Kharabe speaking about his interaction with Amol after the complaint was lodged, added, Amol told me that his mother Roopa stays with him. The house where he stays, according to Amol, is their ancestral house and his mother has asked him to stay at their residence. He said that Amol claimed that it was just an internal family conflict.

“Pakistan Zindabad” slogans were being raised during Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra, claimed Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on November 25. He also said that he has ordered a probe into the incident.

Earlier that day, BJP leaders alleged that partakers in the Yatra shouted ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. A controversy flared up after BJP State President VD Sharma and other party leaders shared a video on social media claiming that ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans were raised during the rally.

Calling it a conspiracy by the BJP against Rahul Gandhi, Congress Party denied the claims. Yatra entered Madhya Pradesh on its 77th day of the Padyatra on November 23.

Covering a total distance of  3,570 km, Congress claimed that Bharat Jodo Yatra is the longest march on foot by any Indian politician in the history of India. It started from Kanyakumari on September 7, and will end in Kashmir next year.

Twitter’s new verification program is all set to launch in the coming week, although with different colors this time

Elon Musk

Twitter’s new verification program is all set to launch in the coming week, although with different colors this time. Elon Musk has announced that Twitter will start to manually allot Blue, Grey and Gold check marks to organizations, governments and Twitter Blue subscribers.

The decision came to surface following impersonation issues like – users buying the subscription plan and impersonating famous personalities to mislead people. The feature was rolled back soon after.

Musk elaborated on the topic by saying that the companies will get a gold check mark, government will get a grey check mark, and blue for celebrities or not. Calling the process painful but necessary, he further added, “Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week. Gold check for companies, grey check for the government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before the check activates.”

For Twitter Blue subscribers, users will get Blue Tick of verification along with priority in reach and display on the social networking site. All this, if you are willing to pay $8 in the US or ₹719 in India – per month.

Kartik Aaryan

Kartik Aaryan is one such actor who’s relationship status is much talked about. Recently, in an interview, the actor spoke about his ‘friendships’ and ‘relationships’ getting labeled constantly. But, Karthik agrees with the fact that even though he’s used to living under media scrutiny, he’s not thick-skinned yet.

“I understand the price you pay for being an actor. You cannot run away from the fact that no one’s going to watch you or write about you. It’s something you chose to be in this movie world. So, I’ve agreed to the fact that my life will be out there for all. However, if there’s a genuine friendship somewhere, that relationship will still be labeled. And that kind of labeling creates a lot of issues between people sometimes. That’s not fair I believe. I’m already used to it, but I’m not thick-skinned yet,” he said in a candid chat.

Kartik, who’s kicked about his upcoming movie, ‘Freddy’, elaborated, “If there’s any negative news or rumour, it still affects me big time. And it hurts even more when I’ve not done anything, rumours are completely baseless. Having said that, I’m okay with things and have accepted the life of a film star. There’s not much privacy.”
