Veteran actor Rajinikanth, on Friday morning, was admitted to Apollo hospital in Hyderabad after he experienced fluctuations in his blood pressure.
The superstar was in Hyderabad for last 10 days for his up-coming Tamil film Annaatthes shoot.
A statement from Apollo Hospitals said, He (Rajinikanth) was admitted to the hospital early in the morning. He had tested negative for COVID-19 on December 22 and was regularly monitored by our team since then.
The statement further stated that Rajinikanth showed no symptoms of COVID-19 but his blood pressure wasn’t stable and they running lab tests to identify the problem.
Speaking on his health, Apollo said, Apart from his un-stable blood pressure and physical exhaustion, Mr Rajinikanth hasn’t shown any other symptoms; he is hemodynamically stable.
On December 20, the producers of Annaatthe had to call it a day as more than eight members from the production crew tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Rajinikanths recent statement, which he gave to reporters in Chennai, the shooting for Annaatthe was 50% completed and the remaining part had to be shot in Hyderabad.
Apollos team assured that Rajinikanth was monitored closely and they would regularly update about the status of his recovery.
