Essential services will continue to remain open during the lockdown in the wake of Coronavirus. In this regard, Nagpur Municipal (NMC) Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has taken an initiative and has decided to keep open 12 medical stores in different parts of the city for 24*7 (operational for 24 hours) in collaboration with the Chemist and Drugist Association.
Essential services that include groceries, vegetables, milk, medicines, etc., would remain open in the city. Mundhe has appealed that citizens should not throng these places to avoid the spread of the virus. However, other medical stores will remain open during their regular hours of the day.
