Politicians take a breather from winter session to attend Dainik Bhaskar’s 15th anniversary celebrations

Taking a break from the winter session 2017 of the state legislature, quite a few politicians were spotted having a chilled out time at a bash organised at Nagpur’s Hotel Imperial on December 20 to celebrate Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar’s 15th anniversary. While political leaders from different political parties made it to the do, all eyes were on Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who was the chief guest at the celebration. Also, present at the bash were many businessmen from the city. Dainik Bhaskar’s (Nagpur) promoters Kailash Agrawal, Manmohan Agrawal, Sumit Agrawal, Amit Agrawal and the daily’s editor-in-chief Prakash Dubey were seen welcoming all the guests with a lot of warmth and making sure that the guests have a good time.

A US-based firm Morning Consult released a list of world leaders trending on the basis of their approval ratings among 22 nations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the most popular leader in the world with an approval rating of over 75% thus leaving behind US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

All 31 days in January 2023 in Nagpur observed to be polluted, reveals study

The entire month of January in Nagpur this year saw tremendously high levels of Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2).

As per the recent survey of Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service, the entire month of January (all 31 days) in Nagpur this year saw tremendously high levels of Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2).

The survey that released pictures of the same showed increased levels of SO2 and NO2 not just in Nagpur but in cities including Chandrapur, Gondia and Amravati. Environmental experts have said that the matter was worrying from the point of view of the health of the residents as the pollution index in Nagpur saw an increase in all the three months of winter.

Not just in January this year but 28 out of 30 days in November last year as well as 30 out of 31 days in December last year showed poor air quality. Environmental expert Professor Suresh Chopani said an action plan, to avoid respiratory issues, under National Clean Air Programme would  be strictly implemented.

Homeopath doctor Dr Kavita Chandak, who has two Golden Book Of World Records for treating kidney disorders and success in a case of mucormycosis in her name, recently was invited as a keynote speaker to the 33rd Scientific and practical conference ‘Development of the Homeopathic Method in Modern Medicine’ held at  RUDN University at Moscow in Russia.

Dr Chandak delivered two keynote sessions on the topics:
 
1VICTORY OF HOMEOPATHY IN A CASE OF SIXTH NERVE RECTUS PALSY,HORIZONTAL DIPLOPIA AND MIGRAINE
 
2) AUTISM IS A DEEP PATHOLOGY, CURED WITH A RARE MEDICINE
 
She further discussed the modern trends in homeopathy. Dr Chandak is an  international trainer and speaker who specialises in autism, psychiatric and behavioural disorders, kidney diseases and cancer.  She authored eight books and 294 health articles and recently delivered a series of international seminars in various cities of Gujarat with a Greek homeopath Dr Constantine Tsitinides where they both presented the cases of unusual pathology treated with homeopathy.
