Abhijeet Sawant prefers his singing career over acting

Indian Idol winner and playback singer Abhijeet Sawant, who was in Nagpur on Saturday (August 10), while speaking to Nation Next said that he would like to continue his career as a singer and not as an actor. The Mohabbatein Lutaaunga singer spoke about his decision when asked about his acting roles in the 2009 movie Lottery and TV shows like Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hain and CID.

Sawant, who has been to Nagpur several times before, was in the city for promotions of &TV singing reality show Love Me India Kids. Sawant will be mentor on the show for the participants of the west zone. Speaking about being a mentor on the show, Abhijeet Sawant said, I’ll try my best to not pressurise the contestants as I think children become under confident when they are pressurised by someone. I’ll work with them as a friend and not as a pressurising parent.

With an intention to spread positivity, happiness and hope amid the coronavirus outbreak in the world, music production house ‘Blive’ has released a new song called ‘Baba Nanka.’

As the name suggests, the song, which has been sung and composed by Satwinder Noor, is an ode to Guru Nanak Dev, the first Guru of Sikhs and the founder of Sikhism. The video of the song consists of visuals of people around the world fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

This soothing composition is sure to calm all of us in this otherwise panicky scenario! The proceeds from the song will go to the PM-CARES fund.

Nagpur-based singer Ishaan Khan’s upcoming music video featuring actress Yuvika Chaudhary, Satwinder Noor and Abhinav Shekhar is going to released on August 27. The music video titled ‘Lakk Boom Boom’ is produced by Mahesh Kukreja’s B Live Music.

While the song ‘Lakk Boom Boom’ is yet to be released, Ishaan did sing it specially for Nagpurians when he performed at the Nagpur City Police Welfare Show on August 10. Ishaan, who now stays in Mumbai, shared the motion poster of the music video on his Instagram account.
