Yavatmal Coronavirus patient who earlier tested negative tests positive

A 50-year-old old woman from Yavatmal who tested negative for Coronavirus, tested positive on Monday, 72 hours after she tested negative. The woman is currently undergoing treatment at Yavatmal GMCHs isolation ward.

The woman was admitted at GMCH in Yavatmal on March 12 along with eight other people, whose samples collected on March 13. While four of them tested negative on the following day, the remaining five people were re-tested on March 15.

Out of the five people, two tested positive while remaining three tested negative. The woman was among the three people. As she developed fever when she was going to be discharged, her fresh samples were collected on March 15 evening. The woman tested positive for coronavirus when her test results came on March 16.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend. 

He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
