VICCO Director Sanjeev Pendharkar in an interaction with Cabinet Minister for Industries in Maha Vikas Aghadi Subhash Desai during a webinar speaks about Mahajob Portal and more.
Sanjeev Pendharkar writes
I am Mr. Sanjeev Pendharkar, Director in Vicco Laboratories have come across one of the most devoted, humble and efficient Industries Ministers, Honourable Shri. Subhash Desai. Our experience with him not only states that he is such a industries minister, who really want industries to grow and listen to the problems faced by the industries and hence, he called me for webinar to have live interaction with him not once or twice, but four times during the Corona crisis !!!
For the Mahajob Industrial Portal designed by him and inaugurated at the hands of Honourable Chief Minister Shri. Uddhav Thakare, I gave him suggestion to prepare mobile app also simultaneously for Mahajob portal. He himself along with the Chief Minister Shri. Uddhav Thakare immediately appreciated the suggestion and launched the app which can be easily utilized by the smartphone users.
The aforesaid app is launched so that industries can put or mention their requirements for online portal about their skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled labour wants and needs. This is particularly important since many industries are without workers as workers who were working were mainly from Orissa, U.P. and Bihar, returned to their native places, as they lost jobs during Corona crisis !!
Maharashtra Industries Minister Honourable Shri. Subhash Desai put the efforts and six lakhs people employed in various sectors have resumed work amid easing of restrictions in the lockdown in place for the novel Corona virus outbreak.
Around six lakhs people in these 25 firms have got back to work. In Western Maharashtra alone 9,147 industries have been given permission to restart work. Off these, a total of 5,774 have already resumed operations.
We salute the efforts of Mr. Subhash Desai !!! The Minister said, the State Government will provide Maha permits for big ticket industrial projects, covering all kinds of permissions that are needed to set up a plant. It will save the time wasted in obtaining various permits needed to start a factory.
Many companies are backing out from China after Corona virus outbreak and the most vigilant Minister is closely watching the development. He promised Mega Permits, will be granted after the company submits concrete proposal while the period for obtaining other subsequent permissions will be increased and they can be obtained after the unit starts.
He has also planned and form employment bureau which will have database of skilled and semi-skilled professionals whom companies can contact for recruitment. This will save the companys hiring cost and offer job opportunities to the youth in the state. Locals are thus given priority and opportunity to work those who are willing to work.
Mr. Desai is of the opinion that Internal Data crunching in his department has revealed that in big ticket projects the average of Rs.One Crore investment creates only one job, while in small scale industries Rs.One Lac needs to be invested to create one job.
The amount of investment shrinks further to Rs.25,000/- in micro scale industries for creation of one job.
We again salute the hard work, dedication and vision of Mr. Subhash Desai and pray to the Lord to give him a long healthy life in the days to come.
And that’s how a film is made – Kantara shows the way! | Movie review
Social media is buzzing with one word today and that word is Kantara! Yes, another Kannada film after KGF that has caught the people’s fancy and how. In fact, this one goes a notch higher than KGF – because the film has been released only in Kannada with English subtitles and yet – the movie is capturing the hearts of people across India and the world.
From California, London and Berlin to cities across India, high praise is pouring in for the Rishab Shetty starrer and the actor-director’s Twitter feed is testimony to this. Ordinary cine-goers are putting screenshots of housefull bookings, sharing videos of people clapping and whistling in theatres and then profusely thanking the star for making this film.
So, what’s this film about? Kantara (which means forest in Sanskrit) stands out because it has powerful storytelling at its core. It is rooted in local folklore, has the right amount of action and adventure and comes with a social message too. Man versus nature, native customs and local politics, which spans three timelines and a climax that’s to die for, is what the film’s about. Add to this some superlative performances by the cast, a stellar background score by B Ajaneesh Loknath and mind-blowing cinematography by Arvind S Kashyap that serenades Karnataka’s rustic locales and you have what can be called the perfect recipe for a blockbuster film. Telling you more will just be a spoiler! So, what are you waiting for? Go watch!
