Thief disguised as car cleaner steals Nagpur’s BJP corporator Sandip Joshis car

A thief disguised as a car cleaner allegedly stole BJP corporator from Nagpur and Ruling Party Leader of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) Sandip Joshis Innova (MH 49 AS 7732 in the name of Shravan Kukreja on RTO website) on Saturday. However, an FIR was lodged at Bajaj Nagar Police Station.

Neeraj Dantulwar, Joshis personal assistant, told Nation Next, Today morning a man came to clean sirs (Sandip Joshi) metallic coloured Innova. The man told us that hes a car cleaner. Believing him, we gave him the car keys. It was after two hours we realised the car went missing.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend. 

He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.

Nagpur declared ‘no drone zone’ on March 20, 21

Ahead of G20 meet in Nagpur, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashwati Dorje, on Wednesday, said the city has been declared ‘No Drone Zone’ on March 20, 21. The development came in as a security measure for the large number of foreign delegates that will be in the city for the summit.   

Any aerial objects including use of parachutes have also been banned.
