Randeep in a recent Facebook post gave a piece of his mind to people who are facing religious insecurities in the country.
Randeep Hooda

Randeep Hooda, who’s well-known for his acting skills, has been recently involved in quite a few controversies. His comments on the Gurmehar Kaur row put him into so much trouble that he had to face a lot of backlash and was also compelled to apologise for the same.

But does that stop the macho actor from expressing his opinionApparently, no! Randeep in a recent Facebook post gave a piece of his mind to people who are facing religious insecurities in the country. In his post, he suggested people to stay away from proactive debates on religion, which indirectly hinted that this is what increases insecurities in people’s mind.

This is what, the actor posted:

If you are Muslim and suddenly start feeling unsafe in country where you lived for more than thousand years..

If you are Dalit and start feeling insulted on every moment of life..

If you are Hindu and suddenly start feeling that cows are being slaughtered everywhere?

If you are a Jain and suddenly start feeling that your religious piety is being compromised

If you are Punjabi and think all the youth are on drugs.

Just do one thing?

  • Stay away from social media…
  • Don’t watch news…
  • Stay away from debates on religion?

Just look around you at your friends who belong to different castes, communities and religions

And you will find that you are living in one of the best countries in the world!!

While the post was lauded and appreciated by many people, there were a few who disagreed as well.
