Students, parents have fun-filled day at ‘Wonderland’ organised by Jain International School in Nagpur

Jain International School (JIS), on December 19, hosted a fun fete – Wonderland: A Fun Fiesta’ for the students of JIS and their feeder kindergarten – Little Jewels. At the fete, parents and friends of the students of the school were also invited. The event was a great opportunity for the students to have a fun time with their friends, parents and teachers after a long time.

The theme of the fete was Fantasy. Abiding by the theme, children, parents and teachers were dressed as their favourite ‘fantasy’ character. Following all the COVID-19 protocols strictly, teachers, dressed up as popular fantasy characters, rolled out the red carpet for students and organized a plethora of super exciting activities.

An eye-catching fantasy backdrop coupled with music and dance left the attendees extremely delighted. The event included one-of-a-kind games such as Kill Voldemort and Witchs Hat Ring Toss. Interesting activities related to pottery and tattoo making along with a food court with several delicacies to feast on kept the attendees in good spirits.

Senior Principal Anmol Badjatia and members of the management of Jain International School lauded the teachers and the organizing committee for their efforts in making the event a success.

DPS MIHAN conducts Virtual Investiture Ceremony to instill leadership qualities in students

To ingrain leadership qualities among students and to give them a feeling of being an integral part of the school administration, Delhi Public School, MIHAN, organised a virtual investiture Ceremony on August 31.  

The election process took place online and students did their canvassing through virtual platform. Later, based on the number of votes received by each and every candidate, finally, the student’s council members were elected.

The esteemed guest for the day was Group Captain Basantkumar Bhagwatsai Pandey, who was commissioned on September 12, 1988, in the Indian Air Force. Presently, he is serving as Public Relations Officer and spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Nagpur since 2018. He congratulated the students and motivated them to be a role model for the juniors.

Nidhi Yadav, Principal, addressed the gathering and congratulated the newly appointed council members for their preparedness to take up responsibilities entrusted to them. 

The newly elected head boy and head girl along with the members of the council took an oath making them conscious of their duties.

The newly elected members of the students council were filled with gratitude to have got the opportunity of leading the Dipsites and pledged to put in the best of their efforts to take the school towards higher echelons.

The ceremony concluded with a motivational dance performance by students and a formal vote of thanks.
