MLC Abhijit Wanjarri has said that Nana Patole’s appointment as MPCC (Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee) chief will play a crucial role for Congress in the upcoming civic body and Zilla Parishad elections across state and the Assembly Elections. Patole quit as the Assembly speaker to take over as chief of the MPCC on February 5.
Speaking to Nation Next, MLC Wanjarri said, “Nana Patole’s appointment as MPCC chief has brought a new wave of enthusiasm in Congress workers in Vidarbha. He is easily accessible to workers of the party across Maharashtra and is a full-time politician. So his appointment will certainly have a positive impact on Congress.”
Wanjarri added, “I am working closely with him (Nana Patole) on building our strategy for the upcoming Zilla Parishad elections in Bhandara and Gondia.”
