Nana Patole, President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, has issued a clarification over his controversial comment on PM Modi after facing backlash from many BJP leaders. Patole has said that in the video, which has gone viral, he was not talking about PM Modi but a different Modi from Bhandara district.
In the video, Patole can be heard saying, “I can beat Modi, I can abuse Modi (Main Modi ko mar sakta hu, main Modi ko gali de sakta hu).”
Poonam Towers aka Bata building
Civic authorities covered the incomplete under construction work of Poonam Towers, situated bang opposite Vidhan Bhavan at RBI Square, on Friday ahead of the C20 meet in Nagpur scheduled on March 20 and 21.
The building owned by renowned builder N Kumar, whose construction has remained incomplete over two decades, it popularly known as ‘Bata building’ in the city.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend.
He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
