Nagpur Police install ‘Coronavirus Statue’ to raise awareness about COVID-19

Police personnel across the country are working day and night to ensure proper implementation of lockdown, which has been imposed to contain spread of COVID-19. Several videos and pictures can be found online in which police personnel can be seen using unique methods to enforce lockdown.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend.
He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.

Ahead of G20 meet in Nagpur, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashwati Dorje, on Wednesday, said the city has been declared ‘No Drone Zone’ on March 20, 21. The development came in as a security measure for the large number of foreign delegates that will be in the city for the summit.
Any aerial objects including use of parachutes have also been banned.
