Nagpur entrepreneurs firm ‘Click2Cloud’ strikes a deal with Chinese technology giant ‘Baidu’

Click2Cloud ? a US multinational company founded and promoted by Nagpur entrepreneur Prashant Mishra – has signed a deal with Chinese multinational technology giant ? Baidu, which is often called as the Google of China. Click2Clouds partnership with Baidu will take more than one million customers of Baidu to cloud and enable Baidus cloud strategy in China and global market. Click2Cloud signed the deal with Baidu at the ABC Summit attended by around 5,000 people at a plush hotel in Shanghai on April 25. Present along with Prashant at the ceremony was Nagpur girl Rupal Shirpurkar (General Manager, Click2Cloud, China).

Speaking to Nation Next over telephone from China, Prashant Mishra said, We currently working with 18 cloud providers in China. With Baidu, we will be working in three sectors. Firstly, for their internal applications like search engine, secondly towards moving data on companies in which Baidu has invested in to the Baidu cloud and thirdly for the enterprise customers to whom Baidu can provide a targeted market segment.

Click2Cloud is a company involved in developing cloud solutions and technologies for cloud migration, cloud compare and DevOps process. Having worked with technology giants like Microsoft, IBM, Alibaba, Amazon, Huawei and now Baidu, the company is gaining momentum in China. It has also helped the Chinese government for its digital transformation thereby making the governance related tasks and public service easy. Mishra, who was born in Bhandara and brought up in Nagpur has worked in Seattle (USA) for 18 years. Speaking about his journey as an entrepreneur and Click2Cloud, he said, Click2Cloud is my third venture. I founded and sold two companies before founding this company. The first company was sold to Persistent Systems in India and other one was sold to Hewlett Packard. Click2Cloud is a more of a migration technology company. It allows companies to run their businesses on cloud. We are currently working in China, Japan and US. Our technology could very well be used in Indian market at much cheaper price.

While Click2Cloud has it’s headquarter in Bellevue, USA, it has its branch offices in Nagpur (India) and Beijing (China).

1st COVID-19 case in Ramdaspeth crops up near Cabinet Minister Vijay Wadettiwars residence

For the first time, a resident of Ramdaspeth tested positive for Coronavirus on Saturday. The patient, who is said to be residing in an apartment near Cabinet Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation in the Maha Vikas Aghadi and senior Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwars residence (behind Tuli Imperial), is said to be a middle-aged woman. 

The patient is reportedly connected to a resident from Mominpura. However, nothing concrete as of now can be said about the same. More details are awaited.

Nagpur: 91 test positive in 24 hours making COVID-19 tally rise to 1266

Nagpur COVID-19 tally as on June 20 rose to 1266 after 91 people tested positive for the virus in past 24 hours. Out of the total 91, while 69 patients belonged to Naik Talao/Bangladesh, 11 from Shantinagar, four from Lashkaribagh, three from Ganeshpeth, one from Uppalwadi, one from Ramdaspeth, one from Mehendibagh and one belonged to Mominpura.

Out of the total, 823 have been cured and over 333 are currently being treated upon.

Nagpur man discovers 4-month-old foetus in gutter; cops suspect illegal abortion

In yet another shocking incident, a resident named Rahul Tumane discovered a 4-month-old foetus lying in an abandoned condition behind his house (near plot number 13, behind Kajal Bar and Restaurant area) in Pardi inside a gutter. 

Police inspector Sunil Chavan told Nation Next that a four-month-old foetus, wrapped in a cloth, was found lying inside a gutter near a house on Thursday night in Pardi. Chavan also informed that the foetus was sent for an autopsy to Mayo Hospital and the reports are awaited. Police have suspected the possibility of abandonment after an illegal abortion. 

A case has been registered under Section 318 (Concealment of birth by secret disposal of a dead body) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) on the basis of a complained filed by Tumane.
