In a shocking incident, a 14-year-old teenager named Nayan Manglani reportedly ended his life by hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence at Hemu Colony Chowk in Jaripatka, Nagpur on Wednesday. The teen, who was recently promoted to standard 10th, was a fan of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and was reportedly disturbed after the actor committed suicide by hanging himself on a ceiling fan at his Mumbai residence on June 14. However, the exact reason of his death is yet to be ascertained as no suicide note was found. A case of accidental death has been registered at Jaripatka Police Station.
As reported in The Times of India, the deceaseds father Indrakumar said, We had tried to divert his attention repeatedly, and also told him that the actor did not end his life but it was something fishy. We used to keep him away from the TV when there would be news about Rajputs suicide.
When we spoke to DCP Neelotpal, he said, As per our preliminary investigation, the teen had demanded for a cell phone from his sister. We haven’t come across any such information so far that he hung himself due to the actors demise. We’re yet to record the statement of the parents, as they’re not in a condition to speak.
