Nagpur boy from Sanjuba High School enters India Book of Records

Abhinav Thakur, a 13-year-old boy, from Sanjuba High School (CBSE), Nagpur, on Saturday, earned a mention in the India Book of Records. Thakur made the record for Most Times Multiplied Three Digit Number in Least Time. As part of the exercise, Thakur, after being given any random three-digit number, had to multiply the number upto 100 times in a mathematical table pattern in least time. The 13-year-old successfully managed to the same in just 2 minutes and 36 seconds.
Speaking to Nation Next, Thakurs Abacus teacher Jayashree Gathbandhe said, Abhinav took a six-month course followed by four months of practice for at least two hours a day. Abhinav is a genius and a very obedient student. Gathbandhe also informed that Thakur wants to be a mathematician in the future and wants to set many records in the process.
