Mumbai Indians plan a special surprise for Sachin Tendulkar on his birthday

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar turned a year older on April 24. To show the batting legend their love, Mumbai Indians made special plans to celebrate Sachin Tendulkar’s birthday .
The team celebrated Tendulkar’s 44th birthday at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday post their match against Rising Pune Supergiant. Excited and overwhelmed by the crowds response, Sachin told commentator Matthew Hayden, This is really special. I thought we would cut the cake in a simple manner. Never thought the whole stadium would be singing while I cut the cake.
Post his retirement in 2013, Tendulkar received the prestigious Bharat Ratna award and became a Rajya Sabha MP. Later, he also played in the Indian Premier League but discontinued after the sixth season. Tendulkar had been associated with Mumbai Indians from 2008 to 2013 and is now the icon of the Indian Premier League franchise.
Abhishek Bachchan too didn’t refrain from expressing his love on Twitter by uploading a video of Tendulkar’s birthday celebrations.
