Mild earthquake occurs near Nagpur
A mild earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred early morning on Sunday 22 November 2020 at 1.45 am at Seoni in Madhya Pradesh – around 100 kms from Nagpur. National Centre of Seismology reported, Earthquake of Magnitude:4.7, Occurred on 22-11-2020, 01:45:02 IST, Lat: 22.10 & Long: 79.55, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: Seoni, Madhya Pradesh.
However, as per the website of National Centre of Seismology, the earthquake that occurred 116 kms NNE of Nagpur, measured 4.3 on the Richter Scale.

According to preliminary data, the earthquake was located at a shallow depth of 10 km. Reportedly, shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.

Civic authorities covered the incomplete under construction work of Poonam Towers, situated bang opposite Vidhan Bhavan at RBI Square, on Friday ahead of the C20 meet in Nagpur scheduled on March 20 and 21.
The building owned by renowned builder N Kumar, whose construction has remained incomplete over two decades, it popularly known as ‘Bata building’ in the city.

49-yr-old man dies while playing badminton in Nagpur

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend.
He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
