May 31: Complete COVID-19 report, analysis and statistics for Maharashtra
As of 10 am on May 31, Maharashtra recorded 65,168 COVID-19 cases since the outbreak of coronavirus in India. 2,940 of these cases were recorded in the last 24 hours and Maharashtra’s mortality rate for coronavirus stands at 3.37 %. 2,197 COVID-19 patients have died so far. Poonam Towers aka Bata building
Civic authorities covered the incomplete under construction work of Poonam Towers, situated bang opposite Vidhan Bhavan at RBI Square, on Friday ahead of the C20 meet in Nagpur scheduled on March 20 and 21.
The building owned by renowned builder N Kumar, whose construction has remained incomplete over two decades, it popularly known as ‘Bata building’ in the city.

49-yr-old man dies while playing badminton in Nagpur

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend.
He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
