May 2: Complete COVID-19 report, analysis and statistics for Maharashtra
As of 10 am on May 2, Maharashtra recorded 11,506 COVID-19 cases since the outbreak of coronavirus in India. 1,008 of these cases were recorded in the last 24 hours and Maharashtra’s mortality rate for coronavirus stands at 4.22%. Here’s the complete COVID-19 report, analysis and statistics for Maharashtra as of May 2. The report has been prepared under the supervision of Dr Sanjay Mukerjee (IAS), Secretary, Medical Education and Drugs Department.

Poonam Towers aka Bata building
Civic authorities covered the incomplete under construction work of Poonam Towers, situated bang opposite Vidhan Bhavan at RBI Square, on Friday ahead of the C20 meet in Nagpur scheduled on March 20 and 21.
The building owned by renowned builder N Kumar, whose construction has remained incomplete over two decades, it popularly known as ‘Bata building’ in the city.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend.
He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
