Actress Mandira Bedi’a filmmaker husband Raj Kaushal (49) passed away on Wednesday morning at the couple’s Mumbai home after suffering a cardiac arrest. While the family is yet to release a statement, Kaushal’s friends from the industry mourned his demise.

Filmmaker Onir wrote on Twitter: “Gone too soon. We lost Film maker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.”

Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit wrote: “Shocked to hear about the sad demise of our colleague #RajKaushal an ace filmmaker due to massive heart attack this morning. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife @mandybedi for this huge tragedy. We stand by you & your entire family in this hour of crisis.!”

Raj had directed films like ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’ and ‘Shaadi Ka Laddoo.’ He is survived by wife Mandira, son Veer and daughter Tara.

Breaking: Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar dies of heart attack at 46

Actor Punneth Rajkumar, who was a superstar in the Kannada film industry passed away on Friday, October 29.
The 46-year-old superstar died of cardiac arrest. At 11 am today, he was hospitalised in Bengaluru after complaining of severe chest pain. Punneth Rajkumar was the son of veteran Kannada actor Rajkumar.
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai shared this news on his Twitter account.
He wrote, “I am deeply shocked that Kannada celebrity Shri Puneeth Rajkumar died of a heart attack. The death of Kannadigar’s favourite actor, Appu, hascaused enormous loss to Kannada and Karnataka and I pray that God will have mercy on his soul and give his fans the power to endure this pain.”
