The department of interior designing at LAD College including specially abled students, Seminary Hills campus, organised a two-day artifact exhibition on December 9 and 10. The college had also organised a weeklong skill education programme that included designing items from paper, terracotta and MDF (wood products). As the theme for the event was ‘forms and shapes,’ students showcased their creativity by setting several stalls of handmade frames, paper bags, envelops, shelves, trays, mobile stands and display units purely made up of recycled materials.Also read: Over 5000 health freaks run for cancer awareness at Nagpur City Marathon
The programme, which was inaugurated by architect Bhushan Jeswani (Chairman, IIID, Nagpur Regional Chapter), was conducted under the guidance of Dr Pooja Pathak (Head of the department – Interior Designing), Dr Deepali Kotwal (Principal LAD College).
The convenor for the event was Dr Rijuta Bapat. Apart from them – Dr Harsha Jharia (Chief Administrative officer), Dr Shyamla Nair (Secretary of Women’s Education Society) and Kalpana Dhawad (Vice Principal) graced the event.
