Indian Coast Guard seizes drugs worth Rs 300 crore near Port Blair

Indian Coast Guard (ICG) ship Rajveer on Thursday (September 19) apprehended a Myanmarese vessel with six crew members carrying drugs worth Rs 300 crore near Car Nicobar Islands.
ICG team led by Andaman and Nicobar in-charge Inspector General Maneesh Pathak detained the vessel carrying suspicious gunny bags. When the bags were examined by Narcotics Control Bureau at Port Blair, packets of Ketamine drug weighing 1,160 kgs were found.
The entire operation was conducted independently by the coast guard after a Dornier surveillance plane detected the vessels suspicious movement and it by later apprehended by ICG ship Rajveer.

49-yr-old man dies while playing badminton in Nagpur

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend.
He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.

Nagpur declared ‘no drone zone’ on March 20, 21
Ahead of G20 meet in Nagpur, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashwati Dorje, on Wednesday, said the city has been declared ‘No Drone Zone’ on March 20, 21. The development came in as a security measure for the large number of foreign delegates that will be in the city for the summit.
Any aerial objects including use of parachutes have also been banned.
