Hardik Pandya in legal trouble over tweet on Dr BR Ambedkar from a parody account

Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has landed in legal trouble over a tweet on Dr BR Ambedkar from a twitter account, which is a parody account of the cricketer. A local court in Rajasthan on Wednesday on the basis of a complaint filed by Jodhpur lawyer DR Meghwal, instructed the police to file an FIR against Pandya. Meghwal apparently mistook the parody account as the cricketer’s verified account.
The parody account, which goes by the handle @sirhardik3777, on December 26, tweeted, Which Ambedkar??? The one who drafted a cross law and constitution or the one who spread the disease called reservation in the country. The handle of the verified account of the cricketer is @hardikpandya7.
Meghwal, who’s a member of Rashtriya Bhim Sena, in his complaint to the court in Jalore district has mentioned that by tweeting about Dr BR Ambedkar, Hardik has not only insulted the constitution but has also hurt the sentiments of the community. He demanded strict action against Hardik. The cricketer has not issued any statement so far concerning the case.
