Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee passed away on Monday evening at the age of 84. The news was shared by his son Abhijeet Mukherjee.

Hospital authorities at Army Hospital in Delhi had earlier in the day said that the health of Mukherjee had further deteriorated on Sunday night and he is currently in septic shock. There is a decline in the medical condition of Hon?ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee since yesterday, said hospital authorities.
The senior Congress leader, who is in deep coma and on ventilator support, was in septic shock due to his lung infection; a team of specialists was monitoring him.
The 84-year-old, who had tested COVID-19 positive, was admitted to the hospital August 10 for the removal of a blood clot in brain and was in coma since them. 
Mukherjee is survived by his three children – Sharmistha Mukherjee, Abhijit Mukherjee and Indrajit Mukherjee.

KK passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata

Renowned playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata. The singer performed at Nazul Mancha auditorium on Tuesday (May 31). He went to his hotel after his performance and collapsed. He was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) at around 10:30 pm, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. The exact cause of his death is unknown as of now.

Shane Warne, the legendary Australian spinner, passed away at the age of 52 after suffering a suspected heart attack, his management has confirmed.

A statement by the managenent read: “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
