Fake followers racket: Mumbai Police finds discrepancies in Badshahs statement, summons him for questioning again

P?opular rapper Badshah, who landed in controversy a month ago after Mumbai Police busted the social media ?fake views racket, has been again summoned by the Mumbai Crime branch for questioning on Aug 20 after discrepancies were found in his earlier statement.

A document sent to Badshah by crime branch read: ?Whereas there are reasons to believe that you are acquainted with certain facts of the matter, and Whereas there are reasons to believe that you are repeatedly attempting to derail the ongoing investigation by not attending, and Whereas there are reasons to believe that there are discrepancies in your earlier statements and factual circumstances, and you are suppressing certain material facts, And, whereas it is necessary to record your further statement in the ongoing investigation in this regard.

For the uninitiated, Mumbai Police had claimed during its investigation last month that Badshah paid a whooping Rs 72 lakh to get 7.2 crore views for his song Pagal Hai? to set a new record on YouTube. Following the claim, Badshah visited the crime branch office in Mumbai on July 7 for questioning in connection with the case. 

However, on Aug 10, Badshahs team issued a public statement, through which the rapper ?categorically? denied all the allegations. He claimed that he has never been involved in such practices and is cooperating with Mumbai Police. 

Badshahs song Pagal Hai? got 7.5 crore views in one day on YouTube bu Google has dismissed the claim. Crime branch has sought a list of followers from the rappers profile. 

As per a news portal, Badshah is expected to answer nearly 238 questions in connection with the fake social media followers racket case.

BREAKING: Nitin Gadkari dropped from BJP’s most powerful body ‘Parliamentary Board’

In a major organisational shuffle, the BJP on Wednesday dropped the names of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan from the party’s highest organisation body – ‘Parliamentary Board.’

The names of former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, Sarbananda Sonowal, Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Satyanarayan Jatiya, K Lakshman, and Sudha Yadav have been included in the party’s parliamentary board.

While Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Om Mathur and Bhupender Yadav have been made members of BJP’s Central Election Committee, Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain’s name has been dropped from the same.

Raju Shrivastava struggles for life, continues to be unconscious for 48 hours

Popular stand-up comedian Raju Shrivastava suffered a mild heart attack on Wednesday morning while working out at a gym in New Delhi.

India’s leading stand-up comedian Raju Shrivastava has not regained consciousness for past 48 hours as he has been struggling for life at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi.

He was admitted to the hospital, after he suffered a massive cardiac arrest while running on the treadmill in a gym on Wednesday. His condition remains to be critical as his brain has got damaged due to the heart attack. He underwent angioplasty, after which he hasn’t regained consciousness till now.

Comedian Ahsaan Qurehshi said, “The doctors have asked to wait and watch as he is under observation in the ICU. A few hours ago, the doctors shared that Raju made some slight movements but his brain isn’t functioning completely and is unresponsive.”

The 59-year-old comedian suffered a mild heart attack on Wednesday morning while working out at a gym in New Delhi. His team confirmed the same while saying, “Raju sir suffered a mild heart attack while working out. He is admitted to AIIMS, but he is doing fine. He is conscious.”

Reportedly Raju felt uncomfortable and collapsed while running on a treadmill in a South Delhi gym. He was immediately rushed to AIIMS.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh recently broke the internet when pictures of his nude photoshoot for a magazine surfaced on social media. While many criticized the actor for the photoshoot, several celebs and netizens came in support of Ranveer’s bold move.

It is now being reported that a complaint has been filed against the actor with Mumbai Police for ‘hurting sentiments of women’ with the photoshoot.

A part of the complaint read, “Last week, we saw many nude photographs were clicked in such a manner that any make or female will feel ashamed about it.”

The complains further read: “These kinds of acts should be opposed strongly, as it is not being opposed then second and third rank actors will also follow the same path for getting cheap publicity which will result in a worst condition. This act of the accused person created shame in the eyes of the women at large and publishing and transmitting sexually explicit material.”

The complaint has been filed against Ranveer under section 67A of the IT Act along with sections 292, 293, 354 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code for hurting sentiments and insult the modesty of women.
