Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and the current Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly, Devendra Fadnavis, on Wednesday, took to social media and slammed the Maha Vikas Aghadi- led Maharashtra government on CarShed issues while travelling in Delhi Metro.
Fadnavis was in Delhi on a routine tour to meet Union ministers for discussing problems related to Maharashtra. On his way back, he took a metro ride to reach Delhi airport and spared no time in calling out the MVA.
In a social media post, he wrote, I travelled in Delhi Metro today to return back on the airport and reached in a very short span of time as compared to travel by road.
Don’t know when will I be able to travel in Mumbai Metro 3 to the airport, he added looking at the things messed up by MVA on CarShed issues.
Mumbai Metros CarShed was shifted from Arey to Kanjurmarg by Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray. Since this announcement, Fadnavis has been speaking against it.
This project will cost much more than it should. It will also harm the environment as more than 400 trees will be cut to construct the platform, he said earlier.
