Hardik Pandya Himanshu Pandya and Krunal Pandya

Indian Cricketers Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandyas father Himanshu Pandya passed away on Saturday morning due to a heart attack. 

 

In order to be with his family, Baroda skipper Krunal decided to leave the bio-bubble created for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in Vadodara, and as a result, he would not be playing for Baroda in the on-going Indian T20 tournament. 

 

Yes, Krunal Pandya has left the bubble, Baroda Cricket Association CEO Shishir Hattangadi confirmed. It is a personal tragedy, Baroda Cricket Association mourns this loss of Hardik and Krunal, he added.

 

Team India captain Virat Kohli and Irfan Pathan also took to twitter to pay their condolences to the Pandya family on Saturday.

 

Heartbroken to hear about the demise of Hardik and Krunals dad. Spoke to him a couple of times, looked a joyful and full of life person. May his soul rest in peace. Stay strong you two, Kohlis tweet read.

KK passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata

Renowned playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata. The singer performed at Nazul Mancha auditorium on Tuesday (May 31). He went to his hotel after his performance and collapsed. He was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) at around 10:30 pm, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. The exact cause of his death is unknown as of now.

Shane Warne, the legendary Australian spinner, passed away at the age of 52 after suffering a suspected heart attack, his management has confirmed.

A statement by the managenent read: “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
