Coffee lovers were seen bonding over their mutual love for coffee at the three-day workshop Coffee Commune? organised to celebrate the launch of Corridor Seven Coffee Roasters in Sitabuldi, Nagpur. Mithilesh Vazalwar, who’s a Coffee-Q Grader and India’s first Aero Press Champion, recently launched the café.
The commune kick-started with an interesting coffee tasting session followed by an introduction to Latte Art. During the session, coffee lovers tasted different types of coffees available at different places in the world. After the interactive session, people enjoyed the delicious brunch by ?Where’s My Butter?? that consisted of lip-smacking and unique dishes like coffee cheesecake, coffee brulee and green salad with coffee vinaigrette.
On the second day of the commune, Vazalwar conducted a coffee-brewing workshop for people aspiring to be good at brewing coffee on their own. Vazalwar, during the workshop, also demonstrated different coffee brewing methods. Speaking about the launch of his café Corridor Seven Coffee Roasters, Vazalwar said, Our coffee has been building a community organically since nine months now. The idea was to focus all our resources on introducing people to specialty coffee. It’s the only roastery café in the city as well as in Central India.
The highlight during the launch of the café was when ?coffee cocktails were introduced to people present. Much like the taste of the cocktails, the names too were quite worth remembering, some of them being ₹60 Tonne Crane, Tommy Bit, and Mixologist. The workshop fascinated people greatly and hence they welcomed the concept of celebrating coffee in a unique way in the city.
