An alumni of the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD), Chinmay Mandlekar is well-known actor in the Marathi film and television industry. Apart from acting in various Marathi films and TV shows, Mandlekar has has also written and directed several plays. While the actors has been a part of popular Marathi films like Morya (2011), Zenda (2009), etc., he has also played supporting roles in Hindi films like Shanghai (2012) and Tere Bin Laden (2010).

Mandlekar will be next seen in the Marathi film Farzand (to be released on June 1, 2018), wherein he will be playing the iconic role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. If you seen the trailer of the film, Mandlekar has nailed the look of Shivaji Maharaj. But is that enoughAs per Mandlekar, it is certainly not!
