Chandrashekhar Bawankule’s wife Jyoti files nomination papers from Kamptee

Amid much speculation, there were reports doing rounds of BJP allotting ticket for Kamptee constituency to senior BJP leader and energy minister of Maharashtra and sitting MLA from Kamptee Chandrashekhar Bawankule’s wife Jyoti for the state assembly elections due on October 21. Confirming the same, Bawankule’s daughter Payal told Nation Next that her mother has filed the nomination papers from Kamptee. Jyoti filed nomination papers today morning for the same but as per updates reports, the party hasn’t approved Jyotis candidature from Kamptee; Anil Nidans name seems to have been approved instead.

It has been said that Bawankule might contest against four-time MLA and NCP leader from Katol Anil Deshmukh.

Civic authorities covered the incomplete under construction work of Poonam Towers, situated bang opposite Vidhan Bhavan at RBI Square, on Friday ahead of the C20 meet in Nagpur scheduled on March 20 and 21.

The building owned by renowned builder N Kumar, whose construction has remained incomplete over two decades, it popularly known as ‘Bata building’ in the city.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend. 

He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
