Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya tests COVID-19 negative after son tests positive

Bollywood playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya on Friday tested negative for COVID-19 after his son Dhruv tested positive for the virus. Dhruv, who’s a restaurateur by profession, was supposed to travel abroad. Hence it was mandatory for him to get tested for COVID-19. The singer revealed that his son has mild cold and cough and has quarantined himself at home.
Abhijeet revealed that he is currently busy shooting in Kolkata. Before joining the sets, he had to take a mandatory COVID-19 test and was found negative. He told Indian Express, I am shooting in Kolkata, and the rule is that only if you have tested negative for coronavirus, can you get on sets. So I had tested negative, and I continue to shoot.

Active COVID cases near 30,000 mark in Nagpur

Nagpur’s COVID-19 tally, on Tuesday, January 25, reached 5,43,064 (till 5 pm) as 4028 (972 from rural and 2956 from city) new cases were recorded in a single day.
Also, active COVID cases, as on Tuesday, could be seen inching closer to 30,000 mark in the district.
