Bedridden for 5 years, man starts walking after taking 1st dose of Covishield, claim doctors

A 55-year-old man, who was bedridden since the last five years following an accident, has started walking and speaking after he took the first dose of Covishield on January 4, doctors claimed on Thursday. The man Dularchand Munda is a resident of Salgadih village of Uttasara panchayat area of Peterwar clock in Bokaro district of Jharkhand.

Dr Albela Kerketta, the in-charge of Peterwar Community Heatlh Centre, said: “An Anganwadi worker administered Covishield vaccine to Munda on January 4 at his house. The next day, the family members were shocked when they saw Mundas lifeless body not only started to move but he regained his speech too.”

Bokaro’s Civil Surgeon Dr Jitendra Kumar informed that a three-member medical team has been constituted to examine the ‘miraculous recovery.’ Dr Kumar said: “This is a surprising incident. We will analyse his medical history.”

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend. 

He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
