Bappi Lahiri, Vaishali Samant give musical tribute to Jeetendra and Sridevi in Marathi film ‘Luckee’

Actors Abhay Mahajan and Deepti Sati in the song ‘Kopcha’ from the Marathi movie ‘Luckee’

Bappi Lahiri and Vaishali Samants latest song Kopcha? from the Marathi movie Luckee, which was released today, is surely a tribute to yesteryear actor Jeetendra and the late actress Sridevi. While Samant has been ruling the Marathi film industry with her songs for years now, it is probably the first time that the legendary Bappi Da has lent his voice to a Marathi song.

The setting of the song, which has been picturised on Abhay Mahajan and Deepti Sati, will remind you of the 1983 superhit movie Himmatwala? starring Jeetendra and Sridevi.  While the song has been sung by Bappi Da and Samant, the lyrics have been penned by Sachin Pathak and the song has been composed by Amitraj.
