Around 100 boxes containing liquor bottles seized from Congress Councillors house
The State Excise Department, on Wednesday, seized around 100 boxes containing liquor bottles from Congress Councillor Mahesh Bharres house in Brahmapuri. The department has registered offences against Bharre and five others in the matter.
State Excise Department officials from Mumbai conducted at raid at Bharres house after getting a tip-off. During the raid, the departments flying squad seized 72 boxes of liquor from a vehicle (MH01/AL/2153) and 23 boxes from Bharres house. Bharre and his accomplices are said to be on the run.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend.
He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.

Ahead of G20 meet in Nagpur, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashwati Dorje, on Wednesday, said the city has been declared ‘No Drone Zone’ on March 20, 21. The development came in as a security measure for the large number of foreign delegates that will be in the city for the summit.
Any aerial objects including use of parachutes have also been banned.
