Addressing the customary Vijaydashami gathering at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat spoke on various issues pertaining to national interest. On the organisations 92nd Foundation Day, Nation Next listed some of the important takeaways from the chiefs speech. Here’s the first person account of the same. Excerpts:

  1. “Pakistan and China: In response to the activities of Pakistan on the western front and that of China on the northern front, India’s strong and determined stand has been visible in the incidents like Doklam on the borders as well as in the international diplomacy.
  2. Terrorist infiltration and cross border firing: The determination, with which terrorist infiltration and cross border firing is being dealt with is appreciated. The provocative actions and propaganda of the separatists is being effectively controlled by curbing their illegal financial sources and exposing their linkages with anti-national terrorist forces.
  3. Jammu Kashmir: Necessary constitutional amendments will have to be made and old provisions will have to be changed. Only then, the residents of Jammu Kashmir can be completely assimilated with the rest of India and their equal cooperation and share will be possible in the national progress.
  4. Cow smuggling: Cross-border smuggling of cow continues to be a matter of concern. Nation already has been facing the problem of illegal Bangladeshi migrants and now Rohingyas who are chased away from Myanmar have infiltrated and many more are ready to migrate illegally.
  5. Cow protection and promotion: Cow smuggling has emerged as a serious issue in all states, especially on Bangladesh border. Activities like cow protection and cow promotion become more valuable. The government should ensure that such criminals should be penalised.
  6. Industrial growth: Integrated and holistic policy will address the needs of industry, trade, agriculture and environment together, will safeguard the interest of all from big, medium and small industries to small retailers, farmers and landless labours is very much felt.
  7. Sustainable livelihood: Despite being faulty, the parameter of Gross Domestic Product is still used to measure the health and progress of economy. Enough remuneration for sustainable livelihood is a major consideration for us.
  8. Loan waiver: Measures like loan waivers are also signs of sensitivity and goodwill of the governments but these temporary measures aren’t the solution to the problem. New technology and traditional non-polluting methods should be amalgamated.
  9. Water management: In the areas of poison free farming and water management, government has already taken the initiatives regarding water conservation, water protection, river cleaning, ensuring continuous flow of river water, rejuvenation projects, tree plantation, etc.
  10. New education policy: New education policy should be carved out in such a manner that education should become affordable and accessible even to children and youth living in jungles and villages. The curriculum should remain free of all ?isms and should be knowledge based.”

It’s now crystal clear that:

  1. The Chinese attack in Galwan was pre-planned.

  2. GOI was fast asleep and denied the problem.

Athawale said, Restaurants selling Chinese food should be banned. Restaurants should be closed by the order of the state government. I appeal people who consume Chinese food to boycott it.

The Chinese literature should also be banned. Its products should be banned and it’s companies too should not be given business here. We should develop such companies in India, which can manufacture the same products here, the Union Minister added.

Athawale warned China to reconsider its actions and stop its criminal activities on the border. You took Buddha from us but we don’t want yuddha (war) with you. A war will prove to be costly for both countries, economically and loss of lives will also occur. If we (Indians) are not crossing the border, then why are you doing so?? he added.
