This one’s for all the dads and their darling daughters!

One of the highest paid actresses according to Forbes, Priyanka Chopra has come a long way! From delivering critically acclaimed performances in numerable hit movies over the years to getting out of her comfort zone to sing songs, Priyanka has always managed to surprise us. And when the surprise is yet to sink in, she comes up with another one! While her role as Alex Parrish in the American drama thriller ? Quantico has been well appreciated, her songs like In My City? and ?Exotic? made international headlines. If you thought, her stint in the west has taken her away from the Indian film and music industry, well, you’re wrong!
Known for experimenting with languages and with different genres of music, Priyanka has come with a new Marathi song ?Baba? which is a dedication to all the fathers in the world. The song is a part of her self-produced film Ventilator which has been written and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. Keeping in mind the fact that this is her debut Marathi song, it’s impressive how Priyanka managed to sing this soulful song so beautifully and got the accent right. Priyankas love and admiration for her late father is no secret. The tattoo on her left wrist Daddys lil girl? is a testimony of the special bond she shared with her father. One can’t help but wonder, how emotional singing this song would have been for Priyanka, as the music video shows a father on the ventilator in the hospital.
The music video features Ashutosh Gowarikar, Jitendra Joshi, Achyut Potdar, Sulbha Arya among others. The lyrics of this touching song have been penned down by Manoj Yadav. The video has been shot amazingly and leaves a strong impact.
Team Nation Next, congratulates Priyanka Chopra for her debut Marathi song and her film Ventilator and also thank her for this beautiful song which tells us again, just how special fathers are!
Thank you Priyanka!
