800 people who came in contact with COVID-19 positive doctor in Delhi quarantined

COVID-19: Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Thursday quarantined over 800 people in city’s Mohanpuri area after they came in contact with a Mohalla Clinic doctor in Maujpur, who has been tested positive for COVID-19. Along with the doctor, his wife and daughter also got infected with the virus.

While speaking to media persons, Jain told that the doctor got infected with the virus after he came in contact with a woman who visited his clinic after returning from Saudi Arabia. Along with the doctor, four more people including his wife and daughter also got infected with the virus. Jain also claimed that the number of COVID-19 cases in Delhi have risen to 36.

As per a health department official of the Delhi government, the clinic has been shut down and is being sanitised. Shahdaras Sub-Divisional Magistrate has urged all the people, who visited the Mohanpuri area from March 12 to March 18, to home quarantine themselves for 15 days to avoid the spreading of the virus.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am.

A 49-year-old man in Nagpur died while playing badminton in Pachpaoli area on Monday morning at around 6:45 am. The deceased, identified as Gunnu Dharma Lohara, was a resident of Yadav Nagar who was playing badminton with his friend. 

He was rushed to Central Railway Hospital in an unconscious state and was declared dead by the doctors there.
