SDPL comes up with affordable houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Dabha

SDPL (Sandeep Dwellers Private Limited), has come up with an affordable housing scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) at Dabha, Nagpur. Under the scheme, the company is offering 1 BHK flats (450 sq feet) at just Rs 12.5 lakh. The information was shared at a press meet held by SDPL at Hotel Centre Point recently. Present on the stage during the meet were Anil and Gaurav Agarwala (Directors, SDPL), Gaurav Mohta (Vice President, Home First Finance Company) and prominent chartered accountant BC Bhartia.

SDPL, which has been developing real estate since the last 30 years, has come up with the scheme SDPL Aashray ? Dabha? to not only provide quality and affordable houses to people but to also highlight the benefits one can avail under PMAY, which was launched in 2015 to provide an opportunity to every Indian family to own a house.

Under the PMAY scheme, a person buying a house can avail a subsidy upto Rs 2.67 lakh by the government on purchase of the house. The subsidy is subject to these conditions:
? The family should not own any pucca house anywhere in India
? Family income should be less than Rs 18 lakh per annum
? The area of the house to be bought should be less than 200 sq meter i.e approximately 2150 sq feet in case of MIG ? II (Middle income group) and less than 160 sq meter i.e approximately 1722 sq feet in case of MIG ? I

Addressing the people present, Anil Agarwala said, It’s necessary that the benefits of PMAY are known to people. A house is something, which is a dream for every family and thanks to PMAY, that dream can be fulfilled. Urging media persons to spread awareness about PMAY, Agarwala said, We urge you to spread awareness about PMAY. We just want to ensure that people get benfitted by the scheme and fulfill their dreams. It doesn’t matter whether they buy homes from us or from somebody else, whats important is that they know about this.

Agarwala also informed that SDPL has gotten in touch with several employers to ensure that their employees know about PMAY. One such employee, who was told about the flat at Aashray? by her employer was also present with her family. An overwhelmed Monica Tandekar, while expressing her happiness, said, I’m really thankful to my employer, SDPL and PMAY for making my dream of having my own house come true.

1st COVID-19 case in Ramdaspeth crops up near Cabinet Minister Vijay Wadettiwars residence

For the first time, a resident of Ramdaspeth tested positive for Coronavirus on Saturday. The patient, who is said to be residing in an apartment near Cabinet Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation in the Maha Vikas Aghadi and senior Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwars residence (behind Tuli Imperial), is said to be a middle-aged woman.
The patient is reportedly connected to a resident from Mominpura. However, nothing concrete as of now can be said about the same. More details are awaited.

Nagpur: 91 test positive in 24 hours making COVID-19 tally rise to 1266
Nagpur COVID-19 tally as on June 20 rose to 1266 after 91 people tested positive for the virus in past 24 hours. Out of the total 91, while 69 patients belonged to Naik Talao/Bangladesh, 11 from Shantinagar, four from Lashkaribagh, three from Ganeshpeth, one from Uppalwadi, one from Ramdaspeth, one from Mehendibagh and one belonged to Mominpura.
Out of the total, 823 have been cured and over 333 are currently being treated upon.

Nagpur man discovers 4-month-old foetus in gutter; cops suspect illegal abortion
In yet another shocking incident, a resident named Rahul Tumane discovered a 4-month-old foetus lying in an abandoned condition behind his house (near plot number 13, behind Kajal Bar and Restaurant area) in Pardi inside a gutter.
Police inspector Sunil Chavan told Nation Next that a four-month-old foetus, wrapped in a cloth, was found lying inside a gutter near a house on Thursday night in Pardi. Chavan also informed that the foetus was sent for an autopsy to Mayo Hospital and the reports are awaited. Police have suspected the possibility of abandonment after an illegal abortion.
A case has been registered under Section 318 (Concealment of birth by secret disposal of a dead body) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) on the basis of a complained filed by Tumane.
