PM Modi to attend Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral in Mumbai

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending Bharat Ratna singer Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral in Mumbai on February 6. Mangeshkar’s funeral, with full state honours, will take place at Shivaji Park in Mumbai at 6:30 pm. Mangeshkar, who’s affectionately called the ‘Queen of Melody,’ passed away at the age of 92 on February 6 in Mumbai.
Shortly after her demise, PM modi took to Twitter to express his condolences. He wrote: “I am anguished beyond words. The kind and caring Lata Didi has left us. She leaves a void in our nation that cannot be filled. The coming generations will remember her as a stalwart of Indian culture, whose melodious voice had an unparalleled ability to mesmerise people.”

Renowned singer KK passes away at 53

KK passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata
Renowned playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata. The singer performed at Nazul Mancha auditorium on Tuesday (May 31). He went to his hotel after his performance and collapsed. He was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) at around 10:30 pm, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. The exact cause of his death is unknown as of now.
Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti.

Australian cricket legend Shane Warne passes away at 52

Shane Warne
Shane Warne, the legendary Australian spinner, passed away at the age of 52 after suffering a suspected heart attack, his management has confirmed.
A statement by the managenent read: “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
