PM Narendra Modi sends love to Jonty Rhodes daughter ‘India’ from India

On the occasion of South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes daughter India second birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes to the two-year-old, by tagging Rhodes, Happy birthday to India, from India :)? Rhodes, who is part of IPLs team Mumbai Indians, posted a picture with his daughter on his Twitter account to which PM Modi had replied.
Back in 2015, Rhodes and his wife Melanie gave birth to a baby girl at Surya Mother and Child Care Hospital in Santacruz (Mumbai) and named their daughter India. The reason he gave behind naming his daughter India was, I have spent a lot of time in India. What I love about India is that it’s a rich mix of culture, heritage and tradition. It is a very spiritual and a forward-thinking nation. I really like that combination. You have to have a good balance of life. With a name like India, she (Rhodes daughter) will have the best of both worlds and that sort of balance.
Jonty Rhodes and Melanie are not the first ones to name their daughter India. West Indies batting legend Brian Lara named his daughter Sydney after scoring his first test century in Australia. Former New Zealand cricketer Dion Nash also named his daughter India.
