‘Mommy Dairies:’ All you need to know about newbie mommies and infants!

Tanya Khubchandani Vatsa is an enthusiastic blogger who initially started her blog ‘Mommy Diaries‘ as tips and tricks, which she would jot down on her phone while nursing her infant. Tanya, currently settled in Mumbai, gradually diversified her write-ups by discussing and involving her readers about parenting, childcare, pregnancy, nursing and a lot more.
Tanya says, Once I started sharing these posts with my friends, I noticed how appreciative they were so that’s when I decided to put them online in the form of a blog in June 2014. The Mommy Diaries blog has grown from casual and often unedited iPhone notes into a helpline for women from all over the world who want tips that are easy to remember and even easier to act on.
While Tanyas writing style is short, sweet, informative and entertaining, it includes tips on pregnancy, baby and toddler health, behaviour, sleep, nursing, travel, shopping, childrens activities and a whole lot more. It also includes information on your pets and babies, and has posts on managing siblings and preparing your toddler to be an elder sibling.
Tanya quips, I have five kids of different ages while my 30-year-old is the one I got married to and my eight-year-old Coco and one-year-old Tizzy have four legs, my babies Riaan (3 and a half years old) and Kiara (one-year-old) are incredibly spirited. Each one has brought with them new learning experiences and love.

Tanya, who spent most of her life in New York after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, completed her Masters in Public Health from Columbia University. She says, I studied, worked, played and fell in love there (not just with Manhattan!). But, life is all about change and we turned it on its head by relocating to India in August 2014. As crazy as it seemed, it was the right move for my family (my baby was then six months old) and my career, like it was for me.
Tanya feels that raising a baby single-handedly isn’t easy, particularly if ones has never been a stay-at-home person. She says, I’m fortunate that my mother was able to take time off from her life to be there from the day my son was born till he turned three months old. I learned a lot with her but probably even more while trying to juggle it all into place after she left. Moving countries with a colicky husband, an active infant and a pup was even harder. I went back to work in health care management shortly after I moved to India and our second bundle of joy arrived in August 2016. I believe strongly that experiences should be shared with those who want to learn, take a break from their lives to read something interesting, learn something new or those who just want to laugh (with me or at me, I’ll take either!). Even though I like to think I know it all, I’m sure I do not, and I make no claims to be a parenting expert. However, I have amassed enormous amounts of information through my love of reading absolutely everything, and experimenting with all kinds of new ideas, that I am happy to share.
Tanya currently blogs once a month, (though her social media pages are updated with tips daily) as she believes her readers should get something wholesome and informative out of each post. Apart from tips on pregnancy, childcare, etc., the opportunities available for readers and bloggers are giveaways, sponsored posts, ambassadorships, reviews and brand partnerships.
I will also post interesting pieces of health information as I can, since that is my field of expertise. Please feel free to reach me if you have anything in particular that you would like to know or any stories that you would like me to share on my page Mommy Diaries. Hope you enjoy reading about my journey as much as I love writing about it, says she.

Car, that can transform into aircraft in 135 seconds, gets airworthiness certification in Slovakia

‘AirCar’ manufactured by Klein Vision
A car, which can transform into an aircraft in two minutes and 15 seconds, has been issued with a certificate of airworthiness by the Slovak Transport Authority. The hybrid car-aircraft, which is capable of hitting speeds over 100mph (160kmh) and altitudes above 8,000ft (2,500m), is equipped with a BMW engine and runs on regular petrol-pump fuel.
The ‘Aircar’ has been manufactured by Klein Vision, which said that the certification followed 70 hours of flight testing and more than 200 take-offs and landings. Professor Stefan Klein, Founder of Klein Vision, said: “AirCar certification opens the door for mass production of very efficient flying cars.” He added: “It is official and the final confirmation of our ability to change mid-distance travel forever.”
In June 2021, the flying car completed a 35-minute flight between international airports in Nitra and Bratislava, Slovakia. Klein Vision told BBC News that it plans to fly to London from Paris in near future.
Rene Molnar, director, Civil Aviation, Transport Authority of Slovakia, said: Transportation Authority carefully monitored all stages of unique AirCar development from its start in 2017. Transportation safety is our highest priority. AirCar combines top innovations with safety measures in line with EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) standards. It defines a new category of a sports car and a reliable aircraft.
