In a dramatic manner, a teenager named Jitendra Tulsiram Bisen barged into the house of a builder named Raju Vaidya at Pipla in Nagpur and held the latters family hostage with a toy gun.
Bisen had called up Vaidya and demanded ₹50 lakh to free the latters family. Vaidya immediately alerted the cops, soon after which team of cops arrived at his home.
Meanwhile, Vaidya kept Bisen busy and distracted him by giving him five lakhs in cash through the window. In no time, the cops, dressed in plain clothes, entered the house from the back door and nabbed him and also rescued the family members.
Bisen, who was brandishing his toy gun, said he tried to commit the crime as his catering business had shut down due to the lockdown.
