For the first time ever since its inception, NOGS (Nagpur Obstetrics and Gynecological Society) installed its new team through video conferencing because of the lockdown imposed in India to contain spread of coronavirus.

Dr Vaidehi Marathe took charge over as the president of NOGS from outgoing president Dr Priyanka Kamble, who had a very successful tenure in terms of academic and social activities. Dr Rajasi Kane sengupta took charge as the Honourary Secretary.

Dr Marathe, during the video conference, introduced her team, the teams logo and the theme. As part of the theme, Basics and Beyond ? Beyond OrdiNaari, Dr Marathe along with her team has planned many innovative academic and social activities to be conducted during her term. Unique Virtual CME – Digi-O-Gyan , NOGS Pathshala , Organ donation initiative, NOGS? got TALENT , Star of the month, Case of the month , PHC adoption for extending health services are few new activities apart from regular clinical meetings ,CMEs , Annual conferences and cultural events.
