Veteran actor Arvind Trivedi who played Ravan in ‘Ramayan’ dies of heart attack


Veteran actor Arvind Trivedi, who was best known for his epic role of Ravan in Ramanand Sagars Ramayan, passed away on Tuesday night, October 5.
As per reports, the 82-year-old former Lok Sabha MP from Bharatiya Janata Party (1991- 1996), died due to a heart attack in Mumbai.
Reportedly, his last rites would be performed today in Mumbai.
A few days ago before his death, he had complained of uneasy breathing and difficulty in walking. Following this, he was rushed to the hospital.
However, he was unwell for the last four years. Over time, his health worsened. According to one of the family members, he was admitted to the hospital quite a few times over the past years.
Trivedi had become a household name because of his role as Ravan. He shot to fame due to his impeccable acting skills and peculiar screen presence.
Besides Ramayan, he had acted in almost 300 Hindi and Gujarati films.

KK passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata

Renowned playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata. The singer performed at Nazul Mancha auditorium on Tuesday (May 31). He went to his hotel after his performance and collapsed. He was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) at around 10:30 pm, where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. The exact cause of his death is unknown as of now.

Shane Warne, the legendary Australian spinner, passed away at the age of 52 after suffering a suspected heart attack, his management has confirmed.

A statement by the managenent read: “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
