Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) discovered that after government initiated supplying home isolation kits for quarantined Coronavirus affected patients, hundreds boycotted authorities, mainly with an intention to avoid social stigma. ?Every day staffers are unable to trace dozens to people whose names are included in the distribution list and are in home isolation after they tested positive in government-run facilities, Badhavath Santosh, GHMC additional commissioner of health wing told TOI.

Moreover, they requested authorities to hand over the kits to one of their relatives place, which would not be near to their residence.
