The She Fests 2nd edition continues to celebrate women empowerment in Nagpur

The second edition of The She Fest? is all set to celebrate women empowerment and International Womens Day on March 7 and March 8 at Hotel Centre Point in Nagpur. The She Fest is being organised by city entrepreneurs Neeta Singh, Parveen Tuli, Monica Bhagwagar and Jyoti Kapoor in association with The Times of India, Tanishq and Nation Next as the Online Media Partner.
Speaking about The She Fest, Neeta Singh told Nation Next: Four years back, I started an online group called The Rising Entrepreneurs on WhatsApp, Facebook and Telegram to uplift women and help women entrepreneurs to sell their products online. As the community grew, women entrepreneurs found success through the group and their business expanded. Last year, I collaborated with my friends Parveen, Monica and Jyoti to start The She Fest, which apart from being a lifestyle exhibition is also a platform to help women achieve their entrepreneurial dreams. Additionally, we also aim at empowering women and change the mindset of society towards women.

The She Fest, this year, has also collaborated with the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME). MSME will be conducting workshops at the fest. The exhibition will consist of 30 stalls, which will display several different products for all sections of the society. Apart from the workshop and stalls, several interesting activities pertaining to entertainment have also been planned at the fest for both the days.
The most interesting and unique thing about The She Fest this year is the Cerebral Beauty Pageant, which is aimed at bringing out the inner beauty of women. Speaking about the pageant, Neeta Singh said, Normally, society is always enamored by outer beauty of a person. Through this pageant, we want to send a message that true beauty is about a beautiful heart and mind. It is the purity of your heart and positive mind, which matters the most. Women of all ages can participate in the pageant, where contestants will be judged on basis of content, confidence and articulation. While the semifinal of the pageant will be held on February 29 at Hotel Darsh Tower, the final round of the pageant will be organised on March 7 evening. On the same day, Tanishq will be organizing a fashion show, wherein brides-to-be will display bridal jewellery and will walk the ramp with their fathers.
On March 8, five women achievers from different walks of life will be felicitated at a program, which will have Union Minister Nitin Gadkari as the chief guest. As part of promoting wellness amongst women, a special panel discussion will be held under the guidance of eminent gynecologist Dr Modi.
