Registration for COVID-19 vaccination for people over 18 to start from April 28

The registration for COVID-19 vaccination for people above the age of 18 in India will start from April 28. Those who wish to register will be able to do so through the CoWin platform and the Aarogya Setu aap. For the uninitiated, the third phase of the inoculation drive, during which people above 18 years of age will be able to get the vaccine, will kick start from May 1.

Under the 3rd phase of the vaccination drive, which will commence from May 1, vaccine manufacturers would supply 50% of their Central Drugs Laboratory (CDL) released doses to the central government and the rest 50%, the manufacturers will be free to supply to state government and in open market.

Here’s how you can register through the CoWin portal:

– Log on to www.cowin.gov.in

– Enter your mobile number

– Get an OTP to create your account

– Enter the OTP and click on the Verify? button

– You will be directed to the registration of the vaccination page. On this page, there will be an option to choose one photo ID proof

– Fill in your name, age, gender and upload an identity document

– Click on the Register? button.

– Once the registration is completed; the system will show the Account Details

– A citizen can further add three more people linked with this mobile number by clicking on the Add More? button

– There will be a button indicating ‘Schedule appointment’. Now click on it. Search a vaccination centre of choice by state, district, block and pin code

– Date and availability will also be displayed

– Click on the ‘book’ button

– On successful completion of booking, you will receive a message. The confirmation details will have to be shown at the vaccination centre

Here’s how you can register through the Aarogya Setu:

– On the Aarogya Setu app homepage, go to the ‘CoWIN’ tab

– Under the CoWIN icon, you can see four options – Vaccine Information, Vaccination, Vaccination Certificate, Vaccination Dashboard

– Tap on the Vaccination? tab and then select the Register Now? option

– Enter your mobile number and then click on ?proceed to verify?

– Enter the OTP and again select ?proceed to verify?

– Once the number verification is done, you will have to upload a photo ID card

– You also need to fill in other details such as age, gender, year of birth

– You can register a maximum of 4 beneficiaries through the Aarogya Setu app

– You can also check for vaccination sites by state, district, block and pin code. The date and availability will be displayed. Select the ?book option

– Once registered successfully, you will receive an SMS with the appointment details

Dr Kavita Chandak at National Conference of Homeopathy held in Aurangabad

Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Karad recently unveiled Dr Kavita Chandak’s book ‘Healing women with Homeopathy’ at the recently held National Conference of Homeopathy (HAMI 2022) in Aurangabad. Prominently present during the conference were renowned homeopath Dr Arun Bhasme and 3,000 other doctors.

In her book, Dr Chandak, who hails from Nagpur, has covered the most important and widespread gynecological disorders such as menarche, over dysmenorrhea to menopause; reflects issues from which women suffer frequently like sterility, polycystic ovarian syndrome, breast issues, pregnancy-related conditions like constipation, morning sickness, heartburn, uterine prolapse, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, and urinary problems, to mention a few.

Dr Chandak has also given a thorough explanation on topics like cancer of the breast, uterus and cervix, which are the most prevalent types of cancers in women. Her book contains a study of several homeopathic remedies with special emphasis on gynecology through the chapters like the core of a few important female remedies and the homeopathic gynecological kit. The book also gives a glimpse of rare and lesser-known remedies.

It is worth noting that Dr Chandak holds two golden book world records for treating kidney disorders and a case of mucormycosis. She is also the recipient of ‘The Excellence in Homeopathy award 2022’ given by Hpathy.com to 66 renowned homeopaths throughout the world. Over the years, Dr Chandak has organized more than 800 free medicine distribution camps. She provides her services through her web clinic in 20+ countries. Her area of specialization is behavioral psychiatric disorders like autism and ADHD.
