Gehlot tweeted that Rajasthan is the first state in the country to bring a law that will make it compulsory for all the citizens of the state to wear masks. Masks are the only vaccine we have that can help us to fight against COVID-19. This decision will support the on-going mass movement against the virus he added.
The Gehlot-led Rajasthan government said that the legislation to make masks mandatory was brought in the on-going session of the House of the Rajasthan Assembly on Monday itself.
The government also decided to ban the sale of firecrackers ahead of the festive season amid the pandemic and recently held a meeting to discuss the rules, regulations and laid the guidelines for Unlock 6.
#Rajasthan will be the first state in the country to enact a law to make wearing of masks mandatory for protection against corona, as the mask is the vaccine to protect against corona and only this will protect..
